My Workout Trick For Getting Movement In When I’m Not Feeling Motivated

ON DAYS WHEN YOU’RE LACKING THE MOTIVATION TO WORKOUT BUT KNOW IT’LL MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER..

You need a plan! Something that will give you a sense of direction, and motivation, and quickly!

My solution: PICK THREE CIRCUITS!

PICK THREE CIRCUIT- Pick the muscle group(s) you’re working, pick 3 exercises within that muscle group(s), & perform 3 sets of each exercise at a repetition that works best for the weight you’re using.

☆ STEP 1: What are we working today? 

(pick one)

•UPPER BODY 

•LOWER BODY 

•FULL BODY 

•SPECIFIC MUSCLE GROUP (back, chest, arms, shoulders, quads, hams, glutes, core)

☆ STEP 2: Pick 3 exercises related to what you’re working!
Example:

LOWER BODY (bodyweight)

•Sumo squat to Calf raise 

•Reverse Lunge to Forward Lunge

•Side lunges

☆ STEP 3: Perform a circuit with 3 sets of each exercise at a repetition that works best based on the weight you’re using.

*the lighter the weight, the higher the reps 

*the heavier the weight, the lower the reps 

That’s it! This method is foolproof and easy to execute. Now you have no excuse not to sweat today!

You can do Pick 3’s anywhere, anytime, and no equipment is needed!

These circuits are super efficient, time saving, and the perfect way to get moving when you can’t find the motivation to begin!

Try making these circuits more challenging by Picking 4 exercises instead of 3, adding weights or resistance bands, and increasing repetitions!
